July saw the SPE President Brian Dixon welcome its new Vice Chancellor Lord Alistair Nelson to the Presidential Luncheon.
The event took place at Highgate House, Northamptonshire and proved to be both informative and positive. The lunch was commenced by Bill Woon (Business Link) giving a presentaion on Engineering within China and raised awareness with respect to international protocols, co-operation and developments.
The event also provided the opportunity for Council to meet with Charles Tondeur (SNIPF) and explore further the opportunities for cooperation and progressing a formal Memorandum of Understanding to be finalised in the Autumn of 2008.
