Patron of the SPE, The Earl of Ilchester

It is with regret that we must inform you of the death of The Earl of Ilchester.  He died the 2nd of July 2006 at the Kent and Sussex hospital in Tunbridge Wells after a two week admission.

He was Patron of the Society for a number of years and although not active due to his declining health of late was nevertheless proud of all our activities.
